Edward Lipsett

lipsettProfile: Edward Lipsett is a graduate of the University of Maryland (USA), with a BA in Japanese Language and Civilization, and has now lived in Japan longer than he’s lived anywhere else. For the last 25 years he has run a commercial translation company in Japan, launching Kurodahan Press in 2003 to make Japanese literature more available in the English language. Kurodahan Press now has about two dozen titles in print, with another dozen in production, and is always on the lookout for talented people and worthy books. A resident of Fukuoka City, Japan, Edward is now working to establish an NPO to further accelerate the translation and publication of cross-cultural literature.
